About Mrs. Bolen

My name is Lori Bolen.  I began teaching at Greeneview in 2007.  I taught 4th
grade for 2 years and I moved to 5th grade in 2009.  I teach Math and Social
Studies.

I grew up in Kettering, Ohio.  I graduated from Kettering Fairmont High
School in 1990.  I attended Wright State University, Sinclair Community
College and Antioch University McGregor.  I received my Associates degree in
Liberal Arts & Science from Sinclair and I received my Bachelor of Arts and
Masters in Education at Antioch McGregor.

I married my husband, Gary, in 1999 and we have one son, Cameron (9).  I also
have a stepson, Jordan (16).  We have two dogs, Jack and Spencer.  Spencer is
our 11 year old cocker spaniel and Jack is a 2 year old yellow lab.  Our
family enjoys watching movies, playing the Wii, riding bikes, and eating ice
cream.  My FAVORITE "quiet" passtime is reading.  I LOVE BOOKS!  I am also an
avid Pittsburgh Steeler fan!  GO STEELERS!!

I am VERY excited about the start of this school year!  Many things will be
different for me this year.  We are beginning a new math program, Everyday
Math, and I am looking forward to teaching this!  We are also adopting new
social studies standards this year!  And beginning this year, Cameron will be
in my building!  (I'm probably more excited about this than he is.)

THE 2011-2012 SCHOOL YEAR IS GOING TO BE FABULOUS!!  CAN'T WAIT!!
